It is through creativity and thinking outside the box that we begin to create and invent new things. If we only ever thought of flowers as red and leaves as green, what things wouldn’t we have accomplished? All the inventions we take for granted now may not have existed if we didn’t push ourselves to think that maybe flowers can be green and leaves can be blue and the sky can be pink. Thinking abstractly can lead to so many wonderful things! Like I’ve said before, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. I admit I have allowed “can’t” into my life, but I’m working hard to kick it out. Thanks for visiting and commenting! Keep living a “can’t” free life! ]]> By: Josée https://kristinavanhoose.com/2015/12/07/why-you-should-never-say-i-cant/comment-page-1/#comment-672 Mon, 07 Dec 2015 22:37:54 +0000 http://kristinavanhoose.wordpress.com/?p=843#comment-672 I totally relate to what you share here! I agree that no one should allow the word “can’t” into their vocabulary…I believe words are very powerful…the words we choose to say to ourselves or out loud open or close doors for us…There’s nothing wrong with admitting something is difficult, but I don’t agree with those voices that try to keep me down…and “can’t” is not in my vocabulary!! We are all given gifts to bless others with…my fear of not being perfect, or not being good enough is self-indulgent. I want to serve others with my gifts…so fear can be faced and pushed through…thanks for this thought provoking post! ]]>
